Jeff Pagel-
Head Varsity Coach
Coach Pagel started teaching science and coaching at FVHS in 2007. He was the assistant coach to Renata Fecteau from 2007 - 2011 where he coached the Junior Varsity team to four winning seasons. After taking the program over in 2011, he has accumulated an overall record of 25-17 and led the team to back-to-back NCHSAA Playoff appearances for the first time in school history while also being named the Tri-9 Conference Coach of the Year for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Pagel is a transplant from the great state of Michigan where he graduated with a chemistry and biology degree from Eastern Michigan University.

Shelby Cole - Assistant Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach
Coach Cole started her career as a Spanish Teacher at FVHS in 2007. She returned to the sport of volleyball as a coach in 2011 after taking a leave of absence after her high school career as a setter and defensive specialist. Also known as "Lights Out Cole", her goal is to help build this program at FVHS from the bottom up, starting with the younger athletes. Coach Cole is a North Carolina native, graduating from Orange High School and earning her bachelor's and master's degree in Spanish from North Carolina State University.
